Nastoi Sumi

The Nastoi Sumi language is a language of the Sumi people. It is spoken by 650 people (2010 est.) in the tundra of Queen Unuit II land in Kamalia. The Nastoi language belongs to the central group of the Sumi language family. There are two main dialects in the Nastoi language: the Alyam dialect (äлямнacтoй) and the Vadalya dialect (вaвэлянacтoй). Phonetic features of the Nastoi language include six vowels, probably no diphthongs (but vowelsequences), and about twenty consonant phonemes.
