The Puguq dialect of Kamalian is spoken mainly in western Kamalia, especially in Puguq and Nahuq county. These are some of the distinctive features of the dialect:
- Qq /q/ becomes /ʔ/
- Uu is pronounced /u/ even before Qq or Gg
- Gg is pronounced /g/
- Several slang words are used
- Ŋŋ becomes /ɲ/
